Twitter is one of the most popular social websites out there today. If you have tried to use it recently in the past few days, you have probably noticed the large, blue whale telling you that there are too many tweets and come back later. I did a little digging and on their blog they state they had a small issue this morning and they are not back to 100%. However, despite any issues they have, it is estimated that the website gets 190 million visitors a day, with roughly 600 tweets per second. That is quite a bit of traffic to handle.
